First Things First,

Merry Christmas! Love Atlantic.
It’s been ages since this blog has seen any activity, but I can assure you that Atlantic has a lot of exciting news that we need to tell you all about.
Fall tour is now finished. And with that completion, two of our members are no longer with us. Joel Guptill and Josiah Swim are done touring with Atlantic and are now getting ready and making final decisions about going back to School. We Love those guys, and they will be missed as we continue on without them.
We all got to break at the start of December to spend some quality time over the holidays with our families. Then we reunited on boxing day in Toronto Ontario for an epic youth conference called Youth Quest (YQ). It was a great way to end 2010, spending it with about 800 rowdy teenagers, the comedic music of ‘Lost and Found’, and getting to hear from speakers like Tony Campollo. We felt blessed and extremely thankful to be apart of yet another life-changing youth conference.
And Now…
We’re kicking 2011 with international exploits.
In a couple days, Cory, Josh, Drew, and Brady will be travelling to Guatemala for a 30 day tour. We have the privilege of having 5 friends from across North America join us in this adventure as we travel through various villages in partnership with a local church’s feeding program.
So Pray for us. (Please)
In the coming days ahead 9 companions will be journeying through a distant land, having epic adventures, and hopefully blessing many many lives through the simplest gestures of love and kindness.
(I was going to try and make some Lord of the Rings reference at the start of that last paragraph but I abandoned it part way through. Maybe another post, I will compare us to the Fellowship of the Ring more thoroughly).
For now, that’s a start at updating our dear blog-reading friends. Thank you for caring about our ministry and what we are up to. It’s a comfort to have brothers and sisters around the world praying for us and the Kingdom work we’re attempting to faithfully be apart of.
Stay tuned for more updates of our journey from Guatemala!
(To steal a page from our brother Paul)
May the Lord be with your Spirit, Grace be with you.
Have a joyous 2011.
-Brady
